We wash your rug to suit its fibres, rinse it well and dry it fully before it goes home.

Before pickup
Getting your rug ready
Not much to do, and nothing to clean.
There’s no need to vacuum or clean the rug first. All we ask is that it’s easy to roll up and carry out. We move the furniture off it ourselves.

Please don’t go at stains with household cleaners before we come. Some can set a stain for good, or fade the dyes. Just point the spots out to us.
Heavy furniture on the rug, a flight of stairs or tricky parking? Mention it when you book and we’ll plan around it.
At our facility
Inspection first, then cleaning
Nothing is washed before a close look.
When your rug arrives, we go over its fibres, dyes, fringe and edges, and any stains or pet accidents. Then we measure it and confirm the price with you. If you’d rather not go ahead at that point, we bring the rug back, and that costs you nothing.
Then comes the wash. Wool, silk, cotton and synthetic rugs each get the care that suits them, and every rug is dried fully, indoors and without high heat, before it goes home. Once it’s dry, the fringe gets some extra attention of its own.
If we find something we didn’t know about at pickup, we always call you first. If you still want a regular wash, what we found doesn’t change its price, and nothing extra happens without your OK.

Stains, odours and repairs
Some rugs need more than a wash.
Stains, pet urine, a smell that won’t go away, worn fringe or frayed edges: we can look after all of those too. Each one is priced once we’ve seen the rug, and we only suggest what it genuinely needs.

- Odour Deep smells, treated before the wash.
- Repairs Fringe, edges, holes and moth damage.
- Super wash Washed from both sides, for thick rugs that need it.

Delivery back to your door
Clean, dry and ready to lay down.
A regular wash usually takes about a week. Enzyme odour treatment can add another week, and stain treatment adds 1 to 3 weeks on average, sometimes longer for a stubborn stain. We arrange the delivery time with you.
To keep it fresh for longer, vacuum it often and turn it now and then, so it wears evenly.

Is rug cleaning pickup and delivery really free?
Yes, completely. Pickup and delivery are free everywhere we serve. You pay for the cleaning, which is priced by the size of your rug, plus any extra treatment you choose.
Do I need to be home for pickup?
No, you don’t. You can leave the rug out for us, though bear in mind that it stays in your care until we pick it up. Tell us when you book, and we’ll plan a pickup that works for you. If you are home, though, you can point out any stains or damage yourself.
How long will my rug be away?
That depends on the rug and the work it needs. A regular wash usually takes about a week. Enzyme odour treatment can add another week, and stain treatment adds 1 to 3 weeks on average, sometimes longer for a stubborn stain.
Can you pick up more than one rug?
Yes. Tell us how many rugs you have when you book, and we’ll plan the rug pickup around them.
